			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p></p><p>Originally I had planned to write a post on <a  href="http://korbyimagery.com/news/internet-marketing-tips/what-browser-are-you-using/">which browsers people are using</a>, comparing the benefits of each and denouncing IE6 for the evil that it is. Then Google posted this video: &#8220;What is a browser?&#8221; This man-on-the-street video gives some perspective to those of us who live in front of a computer. According to the response only 8% of the people in the video even know what a browsers is.</p>

<h2>So what is a browser?</h2>
<p>A browser is an application that allows you to view web pages. Which browser are you using?</p>
<p>Typically a Windows machine will have <a  href="http://ie8.msn.com" target="_blank">Internet Explorer</a> installed. A Mac will probably have <a  href="http://www.apple.com/safari/" target="_blank">Safari</a>. It&#8217;s enough to get you online and that is all most people care about. For those who care about internet security, speed and performance there are better options. <a  href="http://firefox.com" target="_blank">Firefox</a> an excellent choice, clean and fast with numerous add-ons for additional capabilities. <a  href="http://www.google.com/chrome" target="_blank">Chrome</a> is the fastest and cleanest, but lacks the add-ons that would make it a real powerhouse.</p>
